Elpizo is the main antagonist of Mega Man Zero 2.

He's an ambitious Reploid who was once an ordinary Reploid but later become leader of the Resistance Base after escaping Neo Arcadia. He helped create a new base for the Resistance and was planning to do a strike to Neo Arcadia called "Operation Righteous Strike" if Ciel's plans to solve the energy crisis failed to get peace between Reploids and humans.

His Evil Ranking.[]

What Make Him Heinous?[]

  • He's a self-important power hungry megalomaniac who sneaks more power to build his heroic image.
  • He collected the Baby Elves so he could track down the Mother Elf and stole them from the Resistance after he was recovering from the defeat of Operation Righteous Strike.
  • He commanded the Baby Elves to control Harpuia, attempting to murder either Zero or him.
  • He mind-controlled the Reploids in Neo Arcadia, forcing them to be his servants.
  • He destroyed the original X's body to release the Dark Elf.
  • After gaining the power of the Dark Elf, he tried to kill Zero.
  • According to Elpizo himself, he would have done something even worse if Zero didn't stop him.
  • While his goal of destroying Neo Arcadia can be considered an extremist way due to Neo Arcadia's genocidal goals and Elpizo being a victim of mistreatment, this is only motivated by revenge rather than genuine heroism. One of his goals is to destroy humanity which is kinda questionable since the only people who discriminated him were Reploids.
  • While Elpizo has to compete with the series' high heinous standards, he still stands out since his release of the Dark Elf led to the return of Dr. Weil and Omega making him responsible for events of Mega Man Zero 3 and 4.
    • Even if it is not intentional, he's far from a saint as he intended to use the Dark Elf to destroy Neo Arcadia and humanity as a whole while being fully aware of the Elf's dangerous capabilities after his visit to the Sunken Library.
    • It also worth noting that compared to the villains who passed the heinous standards, he has less resources than all of them since he only has the Resistance Base as his army, paralysis and his sword.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He's too remorseful for NPE, as he gratefully thanked Zero for stopping him before he did something even worse. He called himself a weak-minded idiot for sneaking more power, and before he died, he asked Zero to give Ciel his apology for everything he done.
  • He's somewhat tragic as he was labelled as a Maverick just because he had a discussion with HE22 about the current state of Neo Arcadia like the energy crisis, and the increase of false accusations.
