Duolingo is the villainous protagonist of the song of the same name created by CG5. He is an obsessed green owl, who after the watcher doesn't take their Spanish lessons, takes drastic measures into getting what he wants by kidnapping and threatening to murder their family.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Becoming obsessed with having the viewer do their Spanish lesson, he begins making vague threats towards them, and warning them of how much they are underestimating his power.
- He kidnaps the viewer's family and has them locked up in a tower on the highest floor.
- He expresses how he is fully willing to murder the viewer's entire family if they don't get their Spanish lesson done.
- He says that everything the viewer loves is on the line is said later in the song, which could be interpreted as him being willing to kill everyone else they care about as well.
- He expresses clear sadism in seeing how much fear he has instilled in the watcher.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- The work he comes from is ultimately a parody, with the song being based off the (at the time) popular meme revolving around a sadistic version Duolingo kidnapping people's families if they don't complete their Spanish lesson.
- He appears to have some honor, as once the viewer gets their Spanish lesson done, he seems to spare their family from death.
