Turning people into eggplants is what I love to do! I love to see them purple with stems that they just grew!
~ Dr. Ned-Grant singing about his own vices.
Dr. Ned-Grant: Wow, you're smart. You must get good grades.
Fern Goldberg: I do okay. I'm not very good at spelling.
Dr. Ned-Grant: Well, don't worry. Spelling isn't going to matter. When you're an eggplant!
~ Dr. Ned-Grant and Fern Goldberg.
Don't blame me! It's the talking eggplant's fault! He made me do it!
~ Dr. Ned-Grant to two police officers.

Dr. Myron Ned-Grant is the eponymous main antagonist in Super Chicken Nugget Boy vs. Dr. Ned-Grant and his Eggplant Army. Growing up, he was frequently teased and tormented by his peers at Bert Lahr Elementary who thought his surname sounded like "eggplant", and in his adulthood, he became a renowned food scientist. Upon making contact with an enigmatic eggplant creature, he decided it was worth his time to turn all the kids who currently attend his old school into eggplants to unleash his revenge against their forefathers that way. But Super Chicken Nugget Boy defeated him, and he was arrested for his crimes.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

In General[]

  • Even though Dr. Ned-Grant is certifiably insane, he still retains moral agency and is fully aware of his actions and their impact on others. The fact that he is proud of being a madman and even once tells Lester his psychosis should be obvious to all the kids by now makes him even less sympathetic.
  • The reason he wants to give hundreds of children a fate worse than death is because their predecessors teased him about his surname, giving him an unbelievably petty motivation that makes no sense in hindsight.
  • He doesn't care about his only sentient ally, The Eggplant, since he scorned it for rightfully expressing its sense of self-preservation and would have gladly manipulated him into going on a suicide mission if The Eggplant hadn't outwitted him.
  • Despite the heinous standard of the quadrilogy, he easily passes it.
    • He is worse than Dirk Hamstone and Snort since Dirk's attempted mundicide was against a planet far less populated than Earth, and Snort tried to destroy Bert Lahr Elementary but without confirmation they were trying to kill anyone in the process, not to mention both of them participate in the efforts to stop Dr. Ned-Grant and become On & Off in the process, hence making him the most heinous character in the trilogy by far.
      • Even if Pizza Planet was as populated as Earth, Dirk was merely trying to blow them up due to sincerely thinking they're evil while Dr. Ned-Grant is still trying to give billions and billions a fate worse than death out of nothing more than his own childish pettiness.
  • He does not have a single redeeming quality or positive trait at all.

Super Chicken Nugget Boy vs. Dr. Ned-Grant and His Eggplant Army[]

  • Upon being recruited by The Eggplant, Dr. Ned-Grant sends a giant blender robot to Bert Lahr Elementary, who vandalizes the school and injures several students and teachers.
  • When Super Chicken Nugget Boy defeats the Blender, Dr. Ned-Grant proceeds to plan to transform everyone at Bert Lahr Elementary into eggplants so he can absorb their sapience and transfer it into normal eggplants to give them sapience, so he can hence use this hive mind of large transfigured children and small eggplant anomalies to band together to conquer the entire world. These are all children and he wants to destroy their consciousness and free will so he can re-mobilize them as mindless drones to conquer everyone else.
    • This is taken with the proper gravity, that when he turns a teacher named Mrs. Durbindin into an eggplant, she cannot move or speak at all until he activates the hive mind to briefly force her to hurt her own students, and Arnie Simpson the Salamander innocently takes a few bites out of her pulp, horrifying Fern who has to pull the animal away from her. Made worse is that her transformation happened right in front of all of her students, traumatizing them and making three of them cry.
  • Following Mrs. Durbindin's tragedy, he goes on to lure dozens of students into the janitor closet connected to a tunnel leading down to his laboratory, absorbing their brain waves and transfiguring them into eggplants in what is known as the "egg-pedemic." He proceeds to do the same to Principal Hamstone. He also turns first-grade teacher Mrs. Sneap and detention monitor Mr. Pummel as well. This chaos goes on for several weeks straight, terrifying the children immensely.
  • When Fern and Lester visit him, he lies that he is not offended by what Fern was falsely accused of writing earlier and tells them to meet him in the supply closet, intending to transfigure them as soon as they arrive.
  • He almost transfigures Lester before Super Chicken Nugget Boy intervenes. In response, he commandeers a legion of the smaller division (the ones who weren't originally people) to pummel him. They beat him brutally and incapacitate him.
  • Wanting to transform hundreds more students and force them into the larger division, he marshals the smaller division as an army and they march out through a manhole and into the playground, where they begin to terrorize the school and pummel children left and right so Dr. Ned-Grant can transfigure them when they're all out cold. He would have gotten away with this if Super Chicken Nugget Boy hadn't interfered and freed everyone from their eggplant shells, hence reviving everyone from their horrific predicament.
  • Realizing he is being defeated, he runs away with the still-transfigured Principal Hamstone.
  • He shows no remorse for his monstrosity and untruthfully insists that The Eggplant forced him to mutilate the innocent against his wishes.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • The obvious reason he can never be PE or NPE is that he is far too comedic to come close. He sings eccentrically about his endgame, he brags about being physically fit entirely out of context which distracts him long enough to get his head stuck inside a (deactivated) oven, he has some of the eggplant invaders play "Bowling for Teachers" while they're all connected to his hive mind, he tries to justify his crimes to the cops in the most awkward way imaginable, he gets confused as a "nude scientist" instead of "food" and one of his inventions is "the thirty-pronged fork". Him trying to turn people into silent walking eggplants in and of itself is an extremely silly thing to do.
