Unstoppable rage. You can't reason with it. It's only purpose is destruction and death!
~ Death of Superman's tagline about Doomsday.
Amazing. A creature who's traveled light years through space and survived a catastrophic entry to Earth. The Blue Bog Scout could have some competition.
~ Lex Luthor talking about Doomsday.

Doomsday is the main antagonist of the DC Animated Movie Universe film, The Death of Superman and posthumous antagonist of its sequel The Reign of Supermen. He was a living biological weapon created by Darkseid and was sent to Earth through a Boom Tube to kill the strongest beings on Earth, like Superman and the Justice League as a part of the alien tyrant's plan to clean the way for his armies for the Earth invasion.

He has no voice actor, because he couldn't talk.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • Immediately after awakening he murdered dozens of Atlantean soldiers, who found him.
  • He also killed all living creatures, which he encountered at Earth, including two young campers and a grizzly bear in the woods.
  • He killed multiple police officers, whom he encountered while heading towards Metropolis.
  • He heavily injured and beats down the Justice League with extremely brutal methods:
    • To be precise, he broke Batman's arm, partially ripped Cyborg apart, threw Martian Manhunter into a gas station, and beat Wonder Woman within an inch of her life.
  • He planned the total extinction of the human race, while seeking for the areas where were the biggest populations of people.
  • He brutally beats Superman nearly to death, and greatly wounded the Last Son of Krypton.
  • He attacked and tried to kill Lex Luthor, who tried to stop him. While someone could argue that Luthor wasn't helping the Justice League for genuine reasons, but more out of pragmatism because he previously wanted Superman to die in the battle with the alien monster, and only helped because he was afraid for his own life and also wanted to take Doomsday's DNA for his experiments, Luthor regardless still wanted to save the Earth, while Doomsday was much more dangerous than him and wanted to destroy the planet.
  • He tries to kill Lois Lane after she tried protecting Clark from him, and he would have succeeded if Superman didn't sacrifice himself by killing Doomsday via snapping his neck. However, Doomsday is able to take Superman down with him by impaling him in the chest with one of his spikes.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He suffers from impaired agency and has moral agency issues, because he doesn't understand good and evil and was created by Darkseid like a living weapon destined to kill everything on his path. He also acted like a predator, by hunting and killing living beings for entertainment, but without understanding what he was doing, making Doomsday living up to his name as an "Generic Doomsday Villain".
