Deus Ex Machina is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside The Architect) of The Matrix film series.
It is a central interface and ruler of 01/Machine City, the leader of the Machines and the one behind The Architect and the Agents.
It was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, who also voiced the Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) and the Lumberjack Ghost in Gravity Falls. The character's motion capture was performed by Henry Blasingame.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He put the men and put them in a simulation program called the Matrix to be used as slaves for machines
- When some men in the city of Zion managed to free themselves from the machines, he sent his machines to destroy the city and kill all the men.
- He cooperates with Agent Smith, the leader of the agents, and also the computer virus for this war.
- Even when he changes his mind, this causes him to kill Neo and Trinity in the trying to get there.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He has no real moral authority since he is actually a machine with artificial intelligence.
- He cares for his machines as he tries to give them help.
- Finally, he redeems himself and orders his sentinels to leave Zion and the humans to live in peace.
