| NOTE: This only Covers Desghidorah from the films as his Godzibsn and Comic versions weren’t proposed Inconsistently Heinous |
Desghidorah is the main antagonist of the 1996 sci-fi action film Rebirth of Mothra by Toho, the first installment in the trilogy.
He is a Shapeshifting Magma lke organism who wiped out all life on Mars before attempting to do the same to Earth.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
In General[]
- Although King Ghidorah did do far worse, he is more powerful than Desghidorah since he took on a more powerful Rainbow Mothra while Desghidorah took on a base Mothra Leo meaning he stands out with fewer resources than him and for the unique crime of draining plant life that was shown to cause suffocation put people in oxygen tanks in addition.
- Although he did seemly obey Belvera, nothing suggests he has moral agency issues. He also doesn't fail the heinous standards to her since he did enough crimes on his own to stand out even more.
- Overall has no redeeming qualities.
Rebirth of Mothra[]
- It was mentioned by Moll & Lora that he drained the life of Mars when it was like Earth and would attempt to do the same to Earth before fighting the Elias and Mothras where he nearly wiped out all the Mothras and Elias by time they sealed him away.
- Although while offscreen and not shown in film, tie-in material show Desghidorah's attacks on Mars that confirm there were lifeforms on the planet and show his attack on Earth killing dinosaurs and fighting many Mothras prevent it from being relied on fridge-horror.
- After being freed by Belvera, he would go on a rampage in a forest draining life of all plants and causing forest fire. It also caused oxygen level to drop as there was a scene at hospital that shows humans needing oxygen tanks, meaning it would’ve lead to mass suffocation in the long run.
- He would attempt to kill a larva Mothra Leo by stepping on his tail and would kill the Mother Mothra.
- He would go on a destructive rampage across Japan draining plant life where he would fight Mothra Leo, who fortunately defeats him.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He lacks characterization due to mostly fighting and acting like a destructive monster, making him a Generic Doomsday Villain.
Trivia[]
- He originally was Pure Evil for awhile until it was decided he was removed for being too much of a Generic Doomsday Villain and be moved to this wiki. He was also removed for believing he relied on fridge-horror but once the tie-in materiel surfaced show his worse acts ended nullifying it to allow him to qualify.
- He and Belvera are only Godzilla Inconsitently Heinous to be from the Rebirth of Mothra Trilogy.
- It is unknown if his Godziban version also count and his IDW Comic Mothra: Queen of the Monsters counterpart do not count due to relying on fridge-horror.
