Her Evil Rankings[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- Her backstory is far too petty to justify her actions. Here are the reasons:
- When she was a child, she wanted a Ballerina Barbie in her pretty pink tutu on her birthday. But instead, she got herself a Malibu Barbie which she descent into her madness. Instead of being grateful over what she got, she just killed her parents over this and burned down her childhood house.
- She married both two men, one a senator and one a surgeon, but they never had enough time with her due to busy with their jobs. Instead of being supportive of them, she just murdered them out of spite.
- She only married Fester for the money and because she knew that the Addams were rich.
- Forbids Fester from making his contact with his family and then mocks them for it.
- Tries to kill Fester by blowing up a house with him inside, and then tried to kill him again when he's survived.
- When Fester confronted her for this, she instead taunted him and cruelly reveals her true nature to him.
- Held the Addams family captive and tries to electrocute them, not caring if they were children or not. However, she only gets electrocuted herself to death instead.
- She has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- The film is a black comedy, and Debbie is not presently or taken seriously at any point whatsoever, with the joke being the Addams family sympathizing her in spite everything she has done. The scene where she gives her motive rant is just pure black comedy at its finest, with the family tearing up from sincere sympathy for her unbelievably petty motivations. They even wish her luck!
