Slade Joseph Wilson, also known by his codename Deathstroke is one of the main antagonist of the DC Universe, specifically serving as the main antagonist of the Teen Titans franchise and a major antagonist in the Batman franchise.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He works as an assassin; throughout the comics, he kills hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Even if most of them are not innocent, it’s still a very high kill count.
- He took advantage of Terra's mental instability and groomed her for a sexual relationship, raping her on multiple occasions and getting away with it because everyone focused on her being insane and she was a teenager, and this also makes him a ephebophile.
- He tried to turn Nightwing evil, along with telling Arsenal he was going to take his daughter after he killed him and raise her to be a mercenary assassin.
- He killed a couple of heroes, including Phantom Lady and Ryan Choi's Atom.
- He originally killed his son, but the reason was to free his son's soul and give his son peace, and he did feel a lot of remorse for doing so.
- When his son was taken by the mercenary Jackal in an effort to coerce him into revealing who hired him. He refused due to his code. He believed that he was fast enough to disarm Jackal before Joseph came to harm, but he was wrong. Joseph was left mute forever as a result of his father’s actions. But apparently, to him, his code mattered more, and his ego enabled this terrible decision.
- He psychologically and physically tormented his own daughter, Rose, after a brief love affair with a woman he was hired to keep safe. After a long series of events, he finally finds out who she is but turns her away for her own safety. Soon after, he decides that he does want a relationship with her and hires his half-brother to take her and her family out in order to bring them closer together. Then he took her to bring her back to his lair, injected her with a serum that triggered psychosis, and tried to send her after Joseph, her half-brother. He even drove her to gouge out her own eye.
- In Dark Crisis, he and his super villains attack the titans tower.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is on and off, as he has teamed up with other superheroes before and doesnt betray them.
- He is anti-villainous, as he does have a code he doesn't frequently break.
- He is too affable to be PE or NPE as he cares for others and willing to work with them.
- All in all, he does care about his children in the end, even if he doesn’t want to say it.
- He does have a lot of sympathetic and pet the dog moments that are enough to make him somewhat grey-zoned.
