I made everything LACK structure and focus! That is my powers, as "The Madman". Making everybody lose their sanity. (WarmOrb: It worked.)
~ Danyell, telling WarmOrb how his mind-destructive plan has succeeded, as well as claiming his intentions as a sadistic madman.
(Robotrobbie: I'm dying! [snickers heavily]) That's whata That's what happens, when you don't give, when you don't give me my bacon bitches and... money. (WarmOrb: Oh no Spiderman! Spiderman, help us!) (Robotrobbie: Help me Spiderman, I need the spider!)
~ Danyell, reveling in making it hard for the heroes to fight him with a straight face and forcing a kid to be subjected into helpless laughter for not complying with his demands.

Danyell Radcliff, occasionally referred to as the Madman and the Gunman, is a recurring antagonist of the VRCHAT Spiderman videos from the web channel WarmOrb. He starred as the main antagonist and the third main character in the VRCHAT SPIDERMAN MOVIE.

He is voiced and portrayed by a VRChat user called JodifiedWilder2032 (currently named JoedifiedWilder), who is Joseph DiAngelo Sanford as the trouper himself.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

Background[]

  • He won't hesitate to call anyone pricks or pointing his guns at anyone's face for any minor annoyance, someone else's or his.
  • Just because he appears to have charisma and some good manners, that doesn't mean he's harmless. Danyell is the rare kind of charismatic, sophisticated and affable mix of "psychotic"; where Dan uses the charming traits and irreverent personality, to weaponize his followers and supporters to his advantage in supporting his chaotic ideals, but happens to also attempt being nice as a strategy to distract anyone of his criminalistic behavior (such as going out of his way being an active entertainer to the public and acting crazy to get the people finding him an "entertaining stuntman" enough to create a cult and secretly gain influence and power over them once Dan has charmed them despite having actual guns drilled to his hands and antagonizing citizens at the same time).

VRCHAT SPIDERMAN MOVIE[]

  • He is first seen running around and shooting everywhere recklessly with the guns bolted onto his hands, while behaving hyperactively. Which is an intentional act of reckless misfiring and attempted mass murder as a hobby of his.
  • He tried robbing and coercing a black kid Robotrobbie to force him into giving him all of the bacon, money and valuables he had or didn't have. When the kid refused to comply, he messed with the laws of physics just for not complying with Danyell's demands, making him float into the air and remain helpless in laughter while falling onto the ground, making him desperately call Spiderman for help and nearly died.
  • Since he is fully aware of weaponizing "black comedy" and using it to his advantage once applied to his villainous actions, this makes him a arena-master who forced Spiderman and Trixie into combat, all by using his farce and chaotic behavior as tools to spread chaos, insanity and disorder onto them and around them.
    1. He happens to be self-aware and capable of breaking the fourth wall, he used his exceeding levels of absurdities zingers to break Trixie's mind in laughter and attempt to distract everyone from the fact he seeks to cause terror and form a rebellion in order to find the person he pursued after, making Spiderman remain more persistent in fighting Danyell.
  • He intended to achieve an anarchistic goal to make everything around himself, intentionally lack focus and structure with the chaos Danyell had caused in the public, as it becomes clear that Danyell seeks to create anarchy and disorder to be inflicted onto others in Spider City, all to spite his supposed enemy he's pursuing after.
    1. Not to mention that he succeeded at breaking the logic and structure of the world he's in while fighting Spiderman in Spider City, which he broke the fourth wall and announced what he did on purpose by distorting reality and turn everything in Spiderman's planet into a state of pandemonium.
  • He overpowered Spiderman by jumping several feet over him (much to WarmOrb's surprise), and then jumping on his neck to defeat him in his most "powerful" form. This had resulted in Dan proudly announcing that the story being broken and outright claiming that making the state of logic in and out of Spider City for breaking everyone's sanity, and he revels in getting away with his misdeed once he made everyone run away from the fight (including Trixie and the kid Robotrobbie). This makes Danyell out to be a dangerously funny master of mischief who can distort and butcher reality as much as he likes with his nonstop impudence and randomness.
    1. When everyone disappeared while Dan was fighting Spiderman's Venom form, WarmOrb himself genuinely admits that Danyell's plan of spreading insanity and nonsense on purpose, actually worked unironically.
    2. Because of being capable at making incredibly creative plans of spreading chaos and mass destruction to the story itself by breaking the fourth wall and making people too entertained to face him with an serious attitude (with the exception of Spiderman himself; who still became a little more crazed when Dan announced to everyone that he broke the storyline without anyone knowing). Which means that not only does he make people laugh at him for his enjoyment and at his expense, but Dan is also the definition of a "dangerous comedian" in-universe.
  • He corrupted Trixie (Spiderman's foxgirl sidekick) and brainwashed her into becoming a sadistic kidnapper who turned evil and kidnaps the hostage Danyell threatened earlier. Dan made this possible by randomly asking her to be Danyell's girlfriend in the middle of Spiderman and Trixie fighting Danyell. Which not only made Trixie laugh helplessly at how absurd the question was, but it somehow broke her sanity, infected her mind with pure insanity and made her become a a evil shell of her former self who was depraved enough to kidnap the hostage Danyell antagonized at the start of the film, who remains missing before the film ends (and even Spiderman thought she killed him because of a command Danyell used). Danyell shows absolutely no remorse over the fact, and seems to be overall proud that he has corrupted her genetically and mentally (as well as nearly killing her of laughter).
  • At the end of the film, once he has successfully distorted reality and caused everyone to lose their sanity all while making everyone in the entire world become raving lunatics, he exclaimed how he was more than willing to repeat this misdeed more than once. Which shows that Danyell is always willing to drive anyone crazy and spread insanity to the point of causing havoc throughout the planet with anyone Dan encounters, even if it means using supernatural means to mess up their sanity and create life-endangering psychosis in the process.

*VRChat* ~ The Rock IS RACIST!? (Amoog Us)[]

  • Due to making almost everyone lose their sanity in his first appearance due to Dan's antics (other than the more innately heroic Spiderman and the cameraman WarmOrb himself whom kept their composure the whole time), he becomes treated as a beloved comedian by other folks in universe, and makes himself out to be an entertainer to the public eye to hide the real harm in his crimes and misdeeds in general.
  • At 17:43, when The-PP-Inspector and WarmOrb in the spaceship lobby tells him repeatedly to put down the guns that are stitched onto his hands, he makes the excuse of how his hands were nailed and was cursed with the guns stuck on his hands, Dan then says "basically nobody dies yet". This was the first moment that showcased Dan showed a disturbing sense of humor, which terrified everyone and WarmOrb even asks Danyell what he meant by that since everyone equally took what he said as a subtle death threat (which an awkward silence that was played for suspense and horror as everyone equally felt creeped out by him; even Dan amusedly refers to himself as a "sociopath" as a excuse to keep his own reputation, which got The-PP-Inspector tell Dan to not say stuff like that or else people will think he's "suspicious", meaning that Danyell got away with him hinting that he was gonna shoot multiple people in the ship, even if it didn't happen).
  • He got four people to clone themselves as him in a virtual realm of Among Us (including WarmOrb himself), which became his own cult as well, and his insanity has also endangered the mentality of several individuals since his psychotic personality happens to be literally infectious, cloning him happens to make (some) people lose their sanity and gain some dangerously schizophrenic side effects that led to mass psychological torture:
    1. He corrupted "The-PP-Inspector", him cloning Danyell's looks at timestamp 19:20; which explicitly has The-PP-Inspector exclaim how Danyell got him feeling severe pain in the head because of him cloning Danyell's looks, and getting corrupted by supernatural means (which shows a rather brief moment in Dan essentially mind-raping him more severely than he did to Trixie), has made The-PP-Inspector kill WarmOrb in the game (where WarmOrb was also tempted to shooting The-PP-Inspector as well), at 26:41 this made The-PP-Inspector become nearly lethal towards Baby Yoda with sticking guns in the alien's mouth, and The-PP-Inspector was about to attempt suicide twice at timestamp 29:21 before getting mental breakdown by making a dramatic tirade about people hating on racists themselves at timestamp 29:36, when WarmOrb called Wyatt's muscular avatar "sexy" (by the name welolat956); this made The-PP-Inspector shoot him and starting a fight for that (and then allowing The-PP-Inspector to attempt suicide the second time at 24:47).
    2. He also corrupted WarmOrb since him cloning Danyell's avatar, made WarmOrb get two episodic supernatural hallucinations like a hopping fire creature appearing behind welowat956 for a split second at timestamp 19:06, and later at the timestamp 21:39; WarmOrb visibly experiences an nearly severe hallucination from the same fire creature coming out of welowat95's back like before, all without welowat95 knowing what happened and WarmOrb tries telling The-PP-Inspector that he murdered him.
    3. Later on at timestamp 31:10, the same guy Dan corrupted has attempted to threaten its originator of influence, Danyell himself, over voting for The-PP-Inspector himself, but Danyell considered it to be ineffective over the fact they both use the same guns, have the same powers and Dan voted to skip (and got away scot-free by using the T-pose of respect).
    4. At 23:19, this also made WarmOrb become a murderer who then killed Wyatt in the game and tried framing it on Trash Golem Head while getting The-PP-Inspector to join in on the antagonism and voting him out, this is before WarmOrb and The-PP-Inspector attempt scapegoating Danyell, and Danyell managed to get The-PP-Inspector voted out by making WarmOrb vote on PP-Inspector being the imposter alongside Dan (even when WarmOrb was the imposter in the third game), and Danyell survived death in a opportunistic way (as well as making Danyell joke about him being "deceived" when WarmOrb was deceived by Dan in reality).

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is very affable towards everyone, in and out of his hoaxes and villainous acts.
    1. Despite being an criminally irreverent supervillain whose psychotic and sarcastic tendencies increase as a gun-wielding vigilante, he is also capable of being genuinely mild-mannered, polite, and composed towards anyone he fought, he's even sociable while he was combating Spiderman and Trixie (as he was even willing to make a joke about him dating the heroes like Trixie herself, even if everyone laughed at him for the seemingly questionable advances Danyell intended as a joke, he still seemed proud to be seen as "funny" and willing to date superheroes, regardless of him using a "entertaining act" to get ahead of everyone.
    2. He also apologized to a character for assuming him to be a imposter when that wasn't the case in the video "*VRChat* ~ The Rock IS RACIST!? (Amoog Us)", meaning Dan was remorseful for jumping into conclusions.
  • He is an textbook example of a comedic villain since he's an over-the-top parody from Guns Akimbo, whose name is a direct pun of the actor's real name: Daniel Radcliffe (who portrayed Miles in the movie Guns Akimbo), and Danyell's backstory being slightly similar to Miles' backstory, thus making it clear that he is not meant to be taken too seriously.
  • He is way too tragic since his goal is played for sympathy (in-universe) once it's explained where his motivations as a vigilante came from.
    1. His backstory implies that he was once a decent human being who minded his own business and only took slippers that were left outside and labelled "for free", before receiving an permanent explicit injury on him, all over taking slippers he saw and took with him home at a sale outside in a neighborhood of his since Dan thought it was for free. This made him want to get revenge at the person who nailed the two guns onto his hands, which also makes it understandable for the way he has become today.
    2. Once he got guns bolted onto his hands while Dan was deep asleep, this also made Danyell slowly deprived of his morality and losing most of his sanity, which made him use his newfound powers to manipulate the genetic factors and external environmental factors of psychosis itself, and due to having pure rage in his system, he thought to transmit it onto others and make everyone around him lose their sanity and cause any kind of trouble all around him to find his enemy. Leading him to become destructive, thuggish, and overall psychotic.
    3. Since his goal for hunting down a sadist who did him dirty and physically harmed him with a permanent injury over a sadistic bait trap that was inflicted onto Danyell, made him seek vengeance to target this person in a rather violent and vengeful way. Where his goal is fairly noble in theory but goes about it in a sociopathic and chaotic way, and he has a mantra that is also what Danyell sees as rewards for defeating his unknown enemy: earning women, money and bacon for hunting down his enemy.
  • He is an anti-villain since his morality is solely in the grey zone. Due to being an overall extremist while having some noble and sympathetic qualities behind his inexcusable actions, this means he has moral agency issues.
    1. Despite having a vengeful streak and his warped sense of humor that unnerved other characters as seen in the video "*VRChat* ~ The Rock IS RACIST!? (Amoog Us)", he's not actively trying too hard to seem "sinister" despite fulfilling the role as the main antagonist in the VRCHAT SPIDERMAN MOVIE.
  • He has shown to have standards and does have a sense of honor.
    1. Despite being thuggish enough to rob and extort others of their valuables for minor felonies and shooting impulsively for any reason; he does play fair in combat unless Spiderman tries going too far with his combat (ex. wanting to "deep-throat" him, this being why Danyell overpowers Spiderman in his Venom form).
    2. In the video "*VRChat* ~ The Rock IS RACIST!? (Amoog Us)", he takes genuine offense to sexual harassment, to the point Dan actively distances himself away from WarmOrb and two guys wanting to see what was under his robe, showing that he wouldn't go far to molest people (let alone allowing himself to partake in debauchery).
    3. He even reveled in defeating Imposter murderers in the VR Among Us game in the same video "*VRChat* ~ The Rock IS RACIST!? (Amoog Us)", meaning he shows to have a personal gripe against murderers despite him having a history of committing crimes.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only version of Miles Harris to be approved as Inconsistently Heinous.
  • He is also the only character in the VRCHAT Spiderman series to be Inconsistently Heinous.
    • His enemies, Spiderman and Trixie, are both Benchmarks respectively thanks to Danyell having formidable moments with his chaotic powers and intentions.
    • Spiderman is a Heroic Benchmark for failing to create enough admirable standards in the VR SPIDERMAN movie besides protecting WarmOrb from getting corrupted by Danyell.
