“ | Okey dokey, boss! | „ |
~ Constantine's catchphrase. |
Constantine is the secondary antagonist of the Cartoon Network series Robotboy. He is the hunchbacked right-hand of Dr. Kamikazi who assisted him in capturing Robotboy and furthering his world domination.
He was voiced by Rupert Degas.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- In "The Boy Who Cried Kamikazi", he invents the "Clapper Zapper", a device that fries electronic devices within a 20ft radius (Kamikazi used it to temporary render Robotboy unconscious).
- In "Constantine Rising", he kidnapped Lola and gives Tommy a letter, stating within 24 hours he has to surrender Robotboy or he'll never see her again. However, it turns out to be a trap when he and Robotboy get there, as he kidnaps them both and gives RB to Kamikazi.
- In "Robot Girl", he sends out Bat Sentries to capture Robotboy and Robotgirl, which ends up having Kamikazi partially reprogramming Robotgirl.
- In "Feline Frenzy", he helped Dr. Kamikazi to kidnap all cats in Bay Area, including Lola's cat named Princess, to turn them into sabretooth tigers with his evolution-ray.
- In "Cast-Iron Constantine", he knocks out the school chef and takes his place so he can capture Robotboy, only to fall in-love with a school teacher named Margret. However, when RB and Tommy confront him, Kamikazi presses a button which causes him to transform into a sadistic and powerful iron-man made using tools and stuff. He also tries to murder Tommy by sadistically attempting to fry him to death. When he and Robotboy's fight ends up accidentally causing the teacher to get knocked-out, he gets enraged and manages to successfully defeat Robotboy, only for his love for Margret to cause to snap-out of his metallic suit and free RB.
- In "Zap! Your Old", he shot Robotboy, Gus and Lola with an aging ray, and then he beat up Robotboy and kidnapped him. The aging ray would've eventually killed them if they got old enough.
- In "Fight", he confronts Robotboy and has him fight his Half-Styled Teenage Gangster Kilomanjaro Monkeys.
- While the Heinous Standards are pretty high, have to compare with his boss, Clammadon or Protoboy, Constantine ultimately stands out for having lesser resources than any of them, being a loyal henchman of Kamikazi, and being more active in capturing Robotboy despite being stupid at times.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Due to the nature of the show, he is played for laughs very often.
- He is somewhat tragic as it is mentioned several times that Kamikazi got him from an orphanage, and it is shown that Kamikazi abuses him very often.
- He is very loyal to Dr. Kamikazi, doing whatever he commands to. He also cares about Margaret in "Cast-Iron Constantine".
- There are moments where Constantine shows kindness, such as when he tried to save Salvatorei the gerbil from being made into Kamikazi's soup in "Teasebots", or showing sadness at Robotboy's death in "The Tune Up".
- It is implied he may have been brainwashed when he transformed into a metallic giant, as he displays a more sinister nature and reverts back to how he normally is when his love for Margaret causes the suit to break.
- He has some standards, such an instance was being unnerved when Dr. Kamikazi reprogrammed Robotboy into trying to kill Tommy in "Crying Time".
- He is also the only Robotboy villain in the show in Kaziland to be Admirable and Heinous.
