~ Cindy after The Protagonist asks why would he want to be her boyfriend. |
Cindy is a major character in the Kindergarten video game duology.
She is an arrogant and sociopathic child who believes she can bully or kill anyone she wants if she believes she is entitled to it. She spends the majority of the first game tormenting Lily but instead shifts most of her abuse towards all students in the second game up until Creature Feature where she receives no punishment for her actions.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- Despite Nugget and the Janitor doing worse, Cindy has lower resources than all of them, not to mention the uniqueness and cruelty of her actions, allowing her to stand out.
- Constantly bullied Lily and after pushing her too far, Lily committed suicide out of grief with Cindy not showing even a monochrome of remorse, even cracking a joke about it telling The Protagonist "you think she died?, never mind I don't care" after Lily jumped into the hole.
- Her actions would also inadvertently cause Nugget to commit suicide, of which she shows no remorse over.
- During a game of house, If The Protagonist doesn't play the game she wants him to, she will stab him and kill him for no reason at all.
- If The Protagonist presents Cindy's dog's corpse to Ms. Applegate, Cindy will kill him without a second thought, not caring if he did it or not.
- If Cindy finds out The Janitor killed her dog, she will brutally kill him by chewing his ear off, and ripping his head off. While The Janitor deserved it, Cindy was still needlessly brutal about it, not to mention she still carries his head around with her all day for no reason at all, implying she enjoyed killing him greatly.
- She attempts to get The Protagonist killed by accusing him of rape in the entrance and the principal's office.
- Additionally, Ms. Applegate implies Cindy's already accused other people of rape before, as she reminds her that "boys not wanting to be your boyfriend does not count as rape".
- She orders Penny to be hurt by breaking the beehive over her head just for sadistic enjoyment otherwise she will not give The Protagonist the flower he needs for science class.
- She tries to accuse The Protagonist of raping her again in the second game out of spite.
- She tries to get The Protagonist killed again in the second game, by calling The Janitor over to kill him during a game of house.
- She is fatphobic as she calls Ms. Applegate a "cow" and thinks Buggs is fat too as seen when Ms. Applegate died she commented "I heard something fat hit the floor, oh it wasn't Buggs"
- She gets away with all her crimes and suffers no punishment for them.
- While she is implied to have abusive parents, these implications aren't given enough weight or detail to be considered detracting.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- Kindergarten is a black comedy, with most of her moments not being taken seriously. Some of her comedic moments revolve around how stupid she is such as her not knowing what the word 'Vegan' means, her stabbing a fork in a plug socket thinking she would get a reward for it, and her thinking a fake gem is real and that she can go around being rude to people.
- She cared about her dog Biscuit, as she was angry when she found out that Biscuit had been killed by The Janitor.
Trivia[]
- She was originally considered a Villainous Benchmark due to it being thought that she failed the heinous standards, however, after it was pointed out that she had lower resources than the other characters, as well as the uniqueness and cruelty of her actions, she was discussed and subsequently approved for Inconsistently Heinous.
