“ | Steven: Look at me, Jack. This isn't you.... Jack: Oh Steven...it is! |
„ |
~ One of the many times Big Jack Horner rejects Steven Universe's offers of redemption to him and admits that he's evil and incapable of redemption. |
“ | Heaven needs us, Emily. Everyone looks to us and we can't doubt ourselves or worry about the fates of demons when we have our own souls to protect. Please, if you start to question, you could end up like Lucifer: fallen. I couldn't bear see you suffer that fate. So, please, let me worry about this, okay? I'm sorry. | „ |
~ Sera refuses to stop the Extermination and Charlie and Emily's indirect offer of redemption so she and Adam can destroy all life in Hell |
“ | Redemption and apologies are for the weak. I owe nothing. I am Azula, daughter of Ozai the Phoenix King! I am the rightful Fire Lord! And I do not take kindly to meddling spirits! | „ |
~ Azula rejects the spirit's offer of redemption and apologies for everything she has done by choosing over her own pride instead. |
“ | Meggy: No, stop!
I know there's a scared little child inside you |
„ |
~ Mr. Puzzles to Meggy during WOTFI 2024's rap battle, attempting to kill her after rejecting her offer to redemption. |
Inconsistently Heinous villains who decline an offer of surrender to simply be evil for eternity.
DO NOT add this category to villains who considered redemption or attempted to redeem themselves (e.g. Bryce Walker, Joker, Aiden, Angstrom Levy, Count Dooku, Henry J. Waternoose III and Plankton). They should go under Remorseful, Insecure, and/or On & Off instead. This category only applied to those who rejected their chance to redeem themselves and remained evil instead.
Redeemed villains can NEVER qualify into this category due to how villains that reject redemption are supposed to stay bad. Even if this was the case, there may have been times where they refused to go back to the good side prior to their redemption (e.g. Evil-Lyn, Darth Vader), but if they redeem themselves, then, they have accepted redemption and can no longer qualify for this category. Same with Villains by Proxy.
However, Faux Redemption villains can sometimes qualify into this category since they don't fully accept redemption.
NOTE: If a villain develops more redeeming qualities/traits (as the franchise goes on) that slightly outweighs their evilness or slowly redeeming themselves even after rejecting the chance of redemption, they do not belong here anymore. (e.g. Tai Lung)
They are the opposite of Corruption Rejection heroes.
