This world has grown so rotten it's infested with maggots. It happened little by little. Like your mistakes added up. The cuddled trash got used to being protected.
~ Tomura Shigaraki showing his hatred of humanity.

Misanthropes are Inconsistently Heinous villains who possess an extreme hatred for humanity and/or their species of origin. Misanthropy can lead to villains committing terrible crimes as they no longer have compassion towards their fellow people and in fact despise them. If the Inconsistently Heinous villain goes too far, they may eventually become a Cataclysm.

Examples are Sweeney Todd, Eren Yeager, Darth Vader, Poison Ivy, Jason Voorhees, Tomura Shigaraki, Zim, Night King, and both versions of Dracula.
