Your father was seduced by the dark side of the Force. He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader. When that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed.
~ Obi-Wan Kenobi telling how Luke Skywalker's father turned to the dark side of the Force.

Inconsistently Heinous villains who are also Inconsistently Admirable.

Their Inconsistently Admirable status can contribute to them being Inconsistently Heinous due to their various heroic deeds preventing them from being Near Pure Evil or Pure Evil.

These Inconsistently Heinous characters are generally considered the most inconsistent, as their ability to also pass the general and in-story admirable standards makes their morality complex. They have performed so many noble acts that it is impossible to categorize them as Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil. However, they have also committed multiple atrocious deeds, making it equally impossible to classify them as Pure Good or Near Pure Good. In essence, they are a chaotic blend of both.

For obvious reasons, they always fall into On & Off, Redeemed, and/or Fallen Heroes. They can also occasionally be in multiple or even all three (e.g. Big Boss).
