Rise! Oh, Dark Lord of Despair! Crush the stars! Lay waste to care! Rise and cover the land in sorrows! May your symphony of emptiness bring the end of all tomorrows!
~ Void Termina's first phase battle description.

Death Gods or Death Goddesses, also called Psychopomps, Shinigami, or Reapers, are in general beings and entities who are of the first name title of their given death. What Death Gods are listed in doing is ruling over souls that have passed which increases the likely possibility of them being a Soul Collector. Even though Death Gods are seen as something to be feared, not every single Death God is an awful monster as some may be this way as warnings to others or serve the category as their job. But there are some Death Gods like the Inconsistently Heinous ones who don't just bring death for anything they are supposed or need to do, but do it out of unnecessary acts of either thrill-seeking serial killings, possessive control freak greed, or a cataclysm to all.
