Memo to me, memo to me: maim you after my meeting.
~ Hades threatening Pain and Panic.
Strangeglove: Silence, you salavating, bowl of bufoonary! I don't pay you to have fun!
Fishlips: Uh, you don't pay me at all, doc!
Strangeglove: (laughs) Quite right. Uh, remember, if it weren't for my unparalleled genius as a glump-o dynamist, you'd still be a revolting little moshling, and not a delightfully evil glump.
~ Dr. Strangeglove abusing his minion, Fishlips just for having fun.
Larry: Then you shot me.

Verminious Snaptrap: I said I was sorry Larry, maybe you'd be happier with the IT guy.

~ Verminious Snaptrap feeding Larry to the sharks for talking back at him.

Inconsistently Heinous villains who have a habit of mistreating their henchmen and sometimes they will also kill or betray them. Not only for failure, but because they can or they outlived their usefulness.

Examples of IH villains that are good/benevolent bosses: Bowser, Cyalux Clover, Chrollo Lucilfer, Count Bleck, Vaas Montenegro, John Kramer, Stanley Pines, Solaria Butterfly, Chantel DuBois, Asgore Dreemurr, and Edgar Munsen. This can be a redeeming quality or just that their benevolence was for pragmatic reasons.
