Carrera or Jaune is one of secondary supporting characters of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series.
She is voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa in Japanese and Emi Lo in English.

What Makes Her Heinous?[]
In General[]
- Despite being made of a Darkness Elemental she has a clear moral agency.
- Although she do have comedic moments they either show her sadism or is when she isn't doing any villainy meaning it isn't detracting at all, outside them she is taken seriously.
- Although she did serve Rimuru Tempest, she not shown any remorse for her actions and only Faux Redeem herself making her a Karma Houdini technically.
- Even if one could argue she partially redeemed herself upon joining Rimuru, she still cling onto her villainous traits and not 100% fully subverted them still being spiteful and cruel at times.
- Despite the high high heinous standards of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime she stands out for a couple reasons:
- She stands out for leveling El Dorado’s capital out of spite to mess with Leon Cromwell and while he isn't 100% innocent, as despite her Freudian Excuse was due to Leon Cromwell destroying a physical body she plan to incarnate into body, this doesn't make her tragic at all, as it don't excuse her actions since many in his nation weren't even remotely involved in his actions of wronging her while she showing some sadism and pleasure in it.
- Even though it was the result of Ultima who had tricked Leon into doing it, she still did her worse act independently from her on her own even then.
- She also can't be compared to Guy Crimson, Milim Nava, Veldora Tempest, Velzard, Velgrynd, Feldway, Michael, Rudra Nam Ul Nasca, Veldanava, or Ivaragé who had more resources than her since she only had the means to level one nation compared to them being able to level multiple at once.
- Although she did become more powerful, it was long after she did those acts when she fewer resources prior to working under Rimuru Tempest.
- She stands out for leveling El Dorado’s capital out of spite to mess with Leon Cromwell and while he isn't 100% innocent, as despite her Freudian Excuse was due to Leon Cromwell destroying a physical body she plan to incarnate into body, this doesn't make her tragic at all, as it don't excuse her actions since many in his nation weren't even remotely involved in his actions of wronging her while she showing some sadism and pleasure in it.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime[]
- She would occasionally level El Dorado's capital for many years just to spite Leon Cromwell and while one attempt shown, it is enough to give enough plausible context to not rely on fridge-horror for the following reasons:
- In the Anime when she used one of attacks it would unleash a massive explosion in a city protected by a barrier and show a lot of people dying and screaming in the background showing people got killed in that event with Light Novel confirming they did cause many deaths. Given she did it multiple times in the past, this show enough on what the previous ones given she has done it before which enough to not be fridge-horror reliant.
- This would give her worst reputation of all Primordial Demons for her destructive tendencies to the Demon Lords giving it onscreen onscreen impact through Leon Cromwell’s demeanor.
- When Diablo approached her, Ultima, and Testarossa to work under his master, she and the other two originally planned to kill Rimuru Tempest just to hurt him before dropping that idea once they met him.
- Even when she is doing heroism she still displays her mischievous destructive tendencies, and will be murderous if anyone insults her master shown in the battle in the Eastern Empire Invasion.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- The biggest reason she can't be Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil is she is a On & Off Grey Zoned character who done heroism when served Rimuru Tempest and be member of Tempest's Supreme Court as the Chief Justice Officer showing she can do good things at times and done multiple heroic actions before.
- She has some redeeming qualities despite her personality:
- She shown to be honorable to others even her enemies like Tatsuya Kondou for despite being a human shown to be a worthy opponent and honored his death and accepting his soul through contract.
- She cares for subordinates, loyal to Rimuru Tempest and while spiteful she shown Leon to be worthy foe.
- She shown to have standards as when she, Ultima and Testarossa was offered by Velgrynd to join the Eastern Empire she refused to betray Rimuru.
Trivia[]
- She and Ultima are the only members of Rimuru's subordinates to be Inconsistently Heinous as Veldora Tempest do no count due to being seen as equals to Rimuru, while Diablo and Testarossa fails the heinous standards, and everyone else are not heinous enough to qualify as Non-Villains IH due to their "heinous" crimes being lethality or justified to save others.
- Ironically her qualification is due to Ultima spiting her that lead to her doing her worst act independently.
- Her Inconsistently Heinous status was only due to her appearance in Kingdom of Coleus Anime OVA three-parter and the tie-in story in ISEKAI Memories (writen by Fuze himself which said tie-in story deemed canon to the main series making it count) since her M.E.H is detailed and shown enough to have enough implication to count for her to qualify.
