Blocky is a recurring contestant in the YouTube animated web series, Battle for Dream Island.
He is an anthropomorphic wooden building block who loves pulling pranks towards others and even has his own company called Blocky's Funny Doings International. He is however also sadistic and reckless, since the majority of his pranks are deadly.
He is voiced by series co-creator Michael Huang and by Dante Jara but later Guillermo Trazancos in the Spanish dub.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
In General[]
- His motivation for killing other contestants for his pranks all derives from his own amusement.
- He is psychically and verbally abusive towards others, especially towards Bubble and Woody. According to Ruby, he has even killed the former 2,763 times.
- Thanks to how deadly his pranks are, he has the highest successful body count in the series, and is the only one to reach the four digit margin, making him easily passing the standards, even in spite of One attempting to kill far more. While One, Four, the Announcer and Pencil do worse, he has lower resources as he's far less powerful than them and lacks the control over the show Four and the Announcer have or access to the Yoyleite.
- He films all of his deadly pranks and is implied to make a living off it.
Battle for Dream Island[]
- He attempts to kill Bubble by using Pin and Needle.
- After failing to pop Bubble, he then decides to kick Woody simply because he is in the mood to hurt someone.
- When Flower incites him to pop Bubble, he accepts her offer and successfully pops her.
- He has put four people in a fate worse than death by repeatedly killing them by using the recovery centers.
- He pranks Bubble into putting thumbtacks in her recovery center so she can pop infinitely.
- He decides to use Ice Cube to put down a fire, but even after it doesn't work, he uses the Ice Cube Recovery Center to continue using her anyway.
- Also involving Ice Cube, he puts the Ice Cube Recovery Center on a tree so Ice Cube can shatter infinitely on a cliff.
- He pranks Firey by putting a recovery center on a lake which makes him extinguish in the process.
- He pranks the Announcer by having him getting crushed by Spongy, though one can argue that he deserves it due to mistreating the contestants.
- He steals an answer sheet so he (alongside Pen and Eraser) can copy the test answers, though this backfired.
- He melts Ice Cube by using Firey in order to get more water in the Crying Contest, much to Leafy's displeasure. In the following challenge, he pops Bubble with ski
- In "Don't Lose Your Marbles," he pops Bubble once again, just to steal her ball in order to win the contest.
- When he fails to rejoin the show again, he angrily kicks Woody again possibly out of pure envy at the fact the latter got more votes than him.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
- In "Spore Day," as a prank, he puts Teardrop in a fate worse than death by trapping her in an infinite loop where she evaporates off Firey Jr.'s heat and is brought back by Roboty's tears. In the same episode, he also tried to kill Cake with Naily.
Battle for BFDI/Battle for BFB[]
- When Tennis Ball and Golf Ball says that they are the team mangers, he gets angry and kills them both.
- In the Cake at Stake in "Fortunate Ben," it is implied he popped Bubble once again by using Pin as the latter is seen angry at him.
- He kicks Woody up high yet again after they agree not to help Four find X.
- In "Take the Tower," after Firey dies by falling into a puddle made by Spongy, he writes down new ideas for pranks by observing this.
- When Ruby is confused on why she is on a different team despite her and Blocky both being red, he threatens her with a giant pair of scissors.
- He attempts to sabotage the Have Cots by giving them a cardboard spaceship and expects them all to get killed when they approach the sun, but backfires when his team's spaceship burns instead.
- In an attempt cool down X, he tries to reflect the sun's rays to the mirror but it ends up burning X, while this was on accident, he did not show remorse towards them.
- He kicks Woody, yet again, this time causing him to fall into a fire, giving him a slow and painful death.
- In "Let's Raid the Warehouse," he picks out a spiky glove so he can hit Woody with it, and only puts it down due to Taco disapproving this idea.
- When Woody is not pleased with the gift he give him, he threatens to attack Woody again and only doesn't because Bubble and Lollipop prevents him from doing it.
- He lies in a court case twice of a missing diary, with the first one being making up a story for a prank. He also disguises himself as a grape and makes up another story, which causes his company to get shut down.
- After Woody takes over his show, he incites him to destroy Flower's merchandise.
- He ties X over a cliff for a prank. He also incites Woody to push Gelatin into Firey before the latter gets upset.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is never taken seriously, as all of his deadly pranks are played for laughs.
- He is shown to care for several people.
- He is good friends with Pen, Eraser, and Snowball.
- He helps Grassy be more respected on their team.
- In Battle for BFB, he gets into better terms with Woody as he is shown to respect him after finding out he isn't as paranoid as he used to believe.
- He is On & Off, as in some episodes he doesn't commit any crimes.
- He is shown to have standards as he is shocked when Flower permanently killed Bubble for a while on the Season 1 finale.
- He is a bit of a scapegoat due to sometimes being punished for undeserved reasons, notably in "A Taste of Space", when he jokes to Four about his team name, he mutilates him.
- As the series went on, he toned down his deadly pranks due to the recovery centers being destroyed, and has become a lot nicer, which makes him partially-redeemed.
Trivia[]
- He is one of the only four Battle for Dream Island characters (alongside The Announcer, Mouthy and the Why is the BFDI Mouth Everywhere? version of Golf Ball) to be Inconsistently Heinous. Out of these four, Blocky and the Announcer are the only two Inconsistently Heinous characters from the main series.
