Big Nose (Pink Panther and Pals)

Big Nose is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Blue Aardvark) of Pink Panther and Pals. He is the Pink Panther's archenemy.

He was voiced by Alex Nussbaum.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

He shows no caring for any citizens and is willing to make himself famous by trying to kill Pink Panther.
He manipulated a lot of people and he is trying to prove to himself that he is better than Pink Panther.
He disallowed Pink Panther from getting a frozen drink (not technically, he did give him his drink but doesn't allow him to get one himself), going inside a cinema without money to pay for a ticket, going inside a restaurant with no cash to pay and without the proper dress code, and then doesn't give him his hotdog as he got fired thanks to Pink Panther disguising himself as a food critic and chases after him as revenge.
He was shown with greed as he is willing to steal money from people.
He got an army of cops to stop Pink Panther just because he was too loud in the cinema. (although the movie was a comedy).
He tried to sabotage Bowling so he can beat Pink Panther.
- He later destroyed the Bowling building, endangering everyone inside, and although it was accidental, he shows no remorse for it.
He sabotaged and cheated in Soccer in an attempt to defeat Pink Panther's team, only to be defeated by Pink Panther himself with a score of 112-111.
He tried sabotaging Pink Panther by turning his paintings into his own paintings to get him infamous.
He is willing to ruin the lives of many kids, for example, he is increasing the ticket price for a toy that the kid needs to buy that is enough but Big Nose keeps increasing the price and tries stopping Pink Panther from getting tickets for the kid.
He succeeded ruining Pink Panther's speed run of getting groceries so that Pink Panther won't get any free groceries.
His villainy got to its peak in the "Astro Pink" episode, as he went to space to shrink planets to collect them (even Earth), endangering billions of people in the process.
- According to the description of the episode in the official Pink Panther YouTube channel, it says that Pink Panther has to save the universe from Big Nose, which means Big Nose was attempting universal conquest.
- Additionally, whenever he collects a planet, he sadistically stares at the planet's people in a creepy manner before leaving the planet to his collection.
- What's worse is that Earth is the planet where Big Nose born in, yet this does not stop him to collect it and endangering its people without remorse.
Despite the heinous standard of the show, he stands out for endangering billions of people without remorse as well as trying to conquer the universe.
While it's possible that he is insecure for not being famous like Pink Panther, it is not played for sympathy at all.
While the show's intro shows him allied with Blue Aardvark, it is not canonic, as Big Nose and Blue Aardvark actually don't know each other in-universe.
While it's possible he originally cared for his dog despite punishing him for his incompetence, this possible redeeming quality is super vague, and even if it was real, he would have subverted it in the "Astro Pink" episode, as it hadn't shown him with his dog inside his spaceship, which means his dog is still on Earth, a planet that he endangered for his collection, and still he shows no remorse for endangering billions of people or even his own dog.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

He is too comedic for Near Pure Evil. His defeats can be quite humiliating as he always got humiliated by Pink Panther, and there are times where he can be a cry baby and a sore loser.
- While he was mostly taken seriously in the "Astro Pink" episode, he still had some comedic moments such as getting his suit taken by Pink Panther only to get his underpants exposed, or him hitting against Saturn's asteroids in a pinball-like manner.
- Additionally, he later reverted to his incompetent nature after this episode.
He does respect Pink Panther like giving him a frozen drink, being happy when Pink Panther gave him a Pizza, was in a tear of joy when Pink Panther give him a medal and knighted Pink Panther when he thought he defeated the dragon. These are the moments that he proved he respected him despite most episodes where he does not like him.
