Welcome the destroyer of worlds… the great Majin Buu!
~ Babidi awakening and introducing Majin Buu.

Babidi is the secondary antagonist of The Majin Buu Saga In 5 Minutes, the third and final instalment of the Dragon Ball Z In 5 Minutes series made by Mega64.

He is a sorcerer who is the sole reason Majin Buu was awakened. Throughout the course of the video, he attempts to use him for his own personal gain and treats him like a pawn. He is also the superior of Spopovich. Even though he isn’t the main antagonist, his actions indirectly led to the extinction of humanity and the destruction of Earth.

He is portrayed by Johnny Weiss.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • He has his henchman Spopovich enter the World Martial Arts Tournament and absorb Gohan/Saiyanman’s energy. The process for absorbing energy directly is shown to leave Saiyanman comatose.
  • When Spopovich’s task is complete, he decides to kill him by causing his body to explode.
  • He brainwashed Vegeta into fighting all of his friends, with the intention of absorbing the energy created by the fighting to release Majin Buu. Speaking of which…
  • He releases Majin Buu despite knowing about the demon’s cataclysmic potential (as in, has the ability to destroy the universe, which Supreme Kai mentions) and even refers to Buu as the “destroyer of worlds” at one point, showing that he knew about the consequences of his actions.
  • He lets Buu go on rampage which leads to dozens or hundreds of people be turned into deserts and eaten.
  • He threatens the entirety of West City to capture Goku and his friends or else he will unleash Majin Buu to destroy it. Knowing Babidi’s ruthlessness, he would’ve made good on that threat.
  • Unlike Buu himself, who shows moral agency issues and ultimately redeems himself as the reincarnated Ube, Babidi has no redeeming qualities just like his canon counterpart.
  • Although the series has other villains such as Frieza, Cell and Buu, Babidi still stands out for having much less resources compared to others and uses Buu to destroy Earth.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He comes from a series of parody videos based on Dragon Ball, therefore it is impossible to treat him seriously. While the Spirit Bomb scene is played straight, that's just about it, and the rest of the video is pure comedy.
