Avocato is one of the main heroes in the adult animated series Final Space. Even though he is a hero in the series itself, he was the right-hand of the Lord Commander for many years before meeting Gary and redeeming himself.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He betrayed his home planet of Ventrexia to the Lord Commander and personally killed the King and the Queen by blowing up their ship.
- Even though he adopted the King and the Queen's son who he named Little Cato and genuinely loved him, Avocato still lied to him throughout his entire life that he is his biological father.
- Avocato committed many atrocities in the Lord Commander's name to the point where he earned the nickname "master of death". One such atrocity is the genocide against the population of Kanopus Prime which consisted of 4 billion inhabitants.
- He is one of the reasons why the Lord Commander is so powerful in the present story.
- Avocato tries to capture Mooncake and deliver it to the Lord Commander even though he knows the creature possesses the power to destroy entire planets and that the Lord Commander plans to use it.
- When the Lord Commander ordered his officers to kill their firstborn children, at first Avocato was prepared to do it and pointed the gun at Little Cato before his love for his son won over and he turned against the Lord Commander and his minions.
- He corners the bouty hunter, Terk, interrogates him and kills him in a brutal manner.
- While the Lord Commander and Invictus have committed more heinous crimes, Avocato still stands out because he has lower resources and because he activaly supported the Lord Commander for many years and at one point even massacred 4 billion people for him.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is tragic because he was forced to fight in a war, lost his first son and was then manipulated by the Lord Commander to fight for him under the belief that he was doing it for a noble cause.
- He was fighting for the Lord Commander because he geniunely believed that he will create a universe without death, which makes Avocato an extremist.
- He remorseful about many of his actions like his genocide against Kanopus Prime, hoping that he wouldn't remember the deed and also regrets killing the Ventrexian King and Queen, adopting their son out of shame for what he has done.
- He genuinely loves his son, Little Cato, which is demonstarted when he refuses to kill him and later saves him from prison.
- He becomes good friends with Gary and the Team Squad and eventually starts to like them.
- He redeems himself entirely by turning against the Lord Commander and joining the Team Squad in their endeavor to save the universe from the Lord Commander and later Invictus.
