Orange: Hey, Apple!
Apple: WHAT?!
Orange: Knife.
Apple: Huh? [screaming]
~ One of Annoying Orange's most famous quotes.

The Annoying Orange is the titular main protagonist of the franchise of the same name.

He is an anthropomorphic orange who, as his name states, is extremely annoying and irritates people until he "warns" them about danger.

He is voiced by the series' creator Dane Boedigheimer.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • As his name says, he annoys people to their absolute limit before "warning" them about danger. Because these certain objects only appear right after he says what they are, he's likely the one causing them to appear. And even if this isn't true, he still doesn't try to help people and makes jokes about their deaths while laughing hysterically at them.
    • It also doesn't help how he makes a YouTube channel for the sake of dark humor, with him or Daneboe recording numerous deaths of the fruits and vegetables, which is what makes the channel popular.
  • He has a habit of abusing his friends, such as assaulting Pear in a random way and making fun of Little Apple's height by calling him a midget. Even though he still sees Pear as his best friend, he still takes sadistic and mischievous enjoyment of messing with him in several ways.
  • In most episodes (most notably in the Ask Orange episodes), he blows up the kitchen with TNT and never cleans up after himself.
  • In many challenge videos featuring him, it’s heavily implied that he rigs them in his favor to torture the others. For example, in Hot Sauce Challenge #2, he gets all of the wings with the mild hot sauces on them, while Grapefruit gets all of the wings with the intense hot sauces on them. Orange also guesses his brands of hot sauce correctly in the first two rounds, causing him to use up all of the milk, leaving Grapefruit with none when he needs it after eating the wing with Infinity Hot sauce on it.
  • In Annoying Ways to Die, he murders a group of food by tricking them into getting crushed by an anvil.
  • In How To Take Over The World, he threatens to blow up Earth if Pear doesn't admit he took over the world.
  • In The Dining, he goes on a killing spree and tries to kill Pear and Little Apple.
  • In X-Massacre #2: Orange Beans, he initially attempts to save some green beans from getting eaten on Christmas by spray painting them orange. However, when the green beans find out that carrots are also on the feast list, they ask Orange to paint them a different color to prevent them from being mistaken for carrots, and he promptly spray-painted them green, removing any affability he had towards them.
  • In It's a Wonderful Knife, he orchestrates a bell concert and knocks down a crate with 1,000 bells inside with a forklift. The ringing of bells causes homicides on several angel food cakes, which promptly get stabbed by knives every time a bell rings.
  • In Reacting to Old Videos #5, he replays a clip of Grapefruit getting cut in half for his sadistic humor. While he says he's not saying Grapefruit deserves it, he's lying.
  • In Ask Orange #49: Pear-ache, he inhales the entire universe just to entertain the audience.
  • In Googlalexiri, he tries to steal Grapefruit, Little Apple, and Pear's digital assistants, and when he tells them to talk amongst themselves, he triggers the robot apocalypse when they decide to eliminate all organic life and remake the world into their robot utopia.
  • In "Knifenado", he very stupidly spent the tornado cellar money on gold sneakers and gold chains. As a result, he, Pear, Little Apple, and Grapefruit ended up without any shelter and got trapped in the knifenado. After it dissipated, Orange used a knife to chop a stick of T-N-T blowing up the kitchen.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He isn't meant to be taken seriously because the entire series is made primarily for comedy and entertainment.
  • He is On & Off, as he also does heroic deeds.
  • Despite abusing them, he genuinely cares about his friends.
  • in Valentine's Day Candy Crush. At first, he was reluctant that Midget Apple would fall in love or have a date with Annoying Orange's sister. Almost at the end of the episode, he allows Midget Apple Allow to fall in love or date his sister, and when the Fart heart and "I hate you" heart messed up Midget's date with Annoying Orange's sister. Annoying Orange said that Midget will win her love on another day.
  • He does care for his sister. As he allowed her to be friends with Midget Apple, Grapefruit, and Pear. He also allows her sister to be in the challenge videos.

Trivia[]

  • He, alongside Jumba Jookiba, Harry Morgan, Boe, Boggo, and Gumball Watterson are the only IHs to have formerly been considered Non-Villains before getting a Villains Wiki page. In Orange's case, he was one of the Non-Villains approved prior to the ban, before later getting a Villains Wiki page and being allowed on this wiki again.
