Kill them! Kill them all!
~ Alma ordering Fettel to kill all the humans.

Alma Wade is the main antagonist of the F.E.A.R. series, serving as one of the two main antagonists (alongside Paxton Fettel) of F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon, the main antagonist of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and a supporting character in F.3.A.R.. She is a powerful psychic supernatural ghost who was murdered by the corporation Armacham who did unspeakable experimentations on her during her life involving her children Point Man and Paxton Fettel being taken away from her, thus leading to her vengeance upon them, that causes the apocalypse. She is the arch-nemesis of Michael Becket.

She was voiced by Melissa Roberts in F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon and Alésia Glidewell in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and F.3.A.R..

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Heinous?[]

Both Timelines[]

  • She got into Fettel's mind to make his violent murderous escape and use a large battalion of super soldiers as an attempt to free her from her containment.
  • She murdered some of the F.E.A.R. members by destroying their bodies to nothing but bones.
  • As she was walking to Point Man, she was endangering his life with her powers causing flames throughout the building, though she soon saved him during fall from a building, landing on the ground without getting seriously injured.
  • She gruesomely caused the bodies of the members of delta force squadron to explode.
  • She encouraged Fettel to murder her sister Alice Wade, with her sister to be eaten by him, and it's heavily implied that Alma did this out of envious spite over her. What made this so cold was the fact that Alice didn't know even know she had a sister or anything about Project Origin, making her innocent in this case, having Alma at her most inexcusable and evil act.
  • She got in her father's mind Harlen Wade to free her from her imprisonment and then killed him by causing his body to explode.
  • She brought out the Nightmares into the real world, who tried to kill Point Man.
  • While she only tried to kill Point Man just so he could join her as a ghost, she practically attempted to murder him in the process of doing so with her walking in an attempted loving hug for him to be with her with his rejection was using his gun to shoot her away.

The Monolith Timeline[]

  • She antagonized Michael Becket nearly killing him on multiple occasions also involving trying to absorb him, and molestation with her being seductive towards him.
  • She oversaw Beckets going through painful and harsh surgical treatment in possessing Point Mans powers.
  • She violently killed James Fox and Cedric Griffin at once.
  • She used her powers to make Herold Keegan go insane in a delusional obsession over her.
  • She infamously raped Michael Becket while psychologically getting in his head, having his life in danger by the hands of Keegan, was hitting Becket while raping him, and after she got him to ejaculate in her, she immediately got pregnant, and further traumatized Becket more by forcing him to touch her belly feeling the baby they had inside her. This all mentally broke Becket beyond sane repair, becoming a hallow torn shell of his former self.
  • She attempted to kill Foxtrot 813 because of her potential fear of her second son Paxton Fettel's return.
  • She brought forth the apocalypse with her powers, sending the Earth in ruins.
  • Her third child was implied to become potentially as dangerous as her which was why Point Man attempted to kill his second sibling.

The Vivendi Timeline[]

  • Her explosive powers almost killed the Sergeant.
  • She caused the helicopter to crash nearly killing Point Man
  • She made a house burn flames that endangered Point Man's life
  • The entities she released killed Kwon.
  • She was successful in bringing the apocalypse to Earth, sending it to near destruction.

What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]

  • The sympathy that her backstory has was nothing but horrendous (if not extremely horrendous), as Project Origin, a top secret governmental program had her quarantined and tortured by Armachams controlling unethical experimentations on her, such as extracting her DNA for the creation of superhuman soldiers, using her as a breeding tool for having psychic children by forcefully impregnating her, when she gave birth to her first child Point Man, they took him away from her which left her heart broken and they impregnated again and repeated the same process, these impregnations happened to her at the age of 14 to 15. But the murder they gave to her was the nail in the coffin with them killing by removing her life support and drown in the water of her containment, simply because they were afraid of her powers, this was really painful for her, lasting for seven days, rotting her flesh, and when she became a ghost, they locked her soul, so that she would never escape.
  • Because of her backstory, her sanity was lost almost completely and may not quite see the severity of her actions to be evil, likewise on how she didn't seem to fully know her limits in potentially killing those of who she loves, especially with how dangerous her powers were by touching people that could cause them to explode, and her powers may be a contributing factor, given how it affected the psychic user and those around the user mentally.
  • Insecurities had been strongly depicted with her dialogue, as she was clearly shown to be suffering from abandonment issues, which was why she raped Beckett, because she wanted to make and have a family with him.
  • She truly loved her children as she felt heartbroken over Point Man's fear of her, Fettel not paying attention to her and tried her best to make sure the third child was delivered.
    • It's implied that she made sure Point Man didn't die from the fall during her explosive flaming walk towards him.
    • In the Vivendi continuation, she saved Point Man's life from getting overwhelmed by replica forces.
  • In spite of it all, she in a twisted sense developed genuine love for Michael and was upset over his avoidance of her.

Trivia[]

  • Alma Wade is the only Inconsistently Heinous in the F.E.A.R. series.
  • Alma Wade is an unusual case of a rapist, as most Inconsistently Heinous or villains in general would rape purely out of from sexual gratification, spite, sadism or humiliating dominance, when it was because of Alma's own accord that was out of her insecurity in gaining what she had lost, in wanting the family that she was isolated most of her life from having.
