ABOBO SMASH! ABOBO DESTROY! ABOBO WIN! ABOBO GO EAT PORRIDGE TO CELEBRATE VICTORY!
~ Abobo

Abobicus Ragicus, best known as Abobo, is the titular main protagonist of the 2012 freeware video game Abobo's Big Adventure and the overarching protagonist of its sequel Aboboy's Small Adventure.

He is a brutish individual whose son is kidnapped by Little Mac and his gang, seeking to rescue him at all costs and kill everyone who stands on his way. He is parodically based on the recurring enemy and miniboss of the same name from the famous Double Dragon beat 'em up game series.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • In general, Abobo is a brutish and hot-tempered man who mainly relies on violence. His violence ranges from extreme lethality to gruesome bloodshed.
  • He caused a cat's death when he jumps down to the street in order to chase the goons who kidnap Aboboy.
  • Brutally rips a Ransomling's and a Ransom Gal's (two children who do not pose any threats) heads off and cannibalizes them, killing them in the process. He later uses their headless bodies on his enemies as explosives.
  • He can either choose vomiting at Annie's face, punching her, or killing her by brutally eating her head for no apparent reason.
  • Even if he chooses to mate Annie that would make her happy, he would endanger his newborn three Merbobo children this time by using them as shields, eventually causing their deaths.
  • Determinately kills Urban Champ by brutally punching his head after defeating him in the street fight, performing a fatality move.
    • If he kills the Urban Champ, he will later brutally kill the neighbor who celebrates Abobo's victory, by throwing the Champ's corpse at her.
  • In the dungeon, he optionally kills a Toad by shooting a Bullet Bill, and the Old Man's messenger by stabbing him on the chest for no reason.
  • After killing Old Man and encountering Zelda in the basement, he takes the piece of Triforce from her and eats it. When Zelda yells at Abobo for his action, Abobo brutally kills her by tearing her body.
    • During the cutscene, a Ransomling's ripped head and the Pac-Man are shown in Abobo's inventory, showing that he committed two murders sometime before Zeldabobo, including one of a child.
  • Stomps Professor Hector to death while chasing Amazon into the stadium.
  • During the wrestling match between him and Amazon, he determinately kills the referee and cameraman for no reason.
  • In order to kill Amazon, he jumps far up out of the stadium, into space to the moon, carrying him over his shoulder all the while. He eventually comes back into the atmosphere at terminal velocity, crashes through the ceiling, and utterly destroys the entire stadium with the resulting explosion, which would have caused more unnecessarily deaths.
  • After killing Kirby and encountering Doc Louis, he intends to kill him too for no apparent reason until the latter stopped him by stating that he knows where is Aboboy.
    • While the two later collaborate together to defeat Little Mac, it is most likely not for a genuine care on Abobo's side, but for pragmatic reasons instead.
  • After killing Little Mac and saving Aboboy, the father and son celebrate their victory with the audience, but they eventually and unnecessarily turn back them and start slaughtering them in gruesome ways include tearing their bodies, mutilating and brutalizing them while sadistically laughing. The onscreen victims include R.O.B. being destroyed, Mario getting disemboweled and choked with his own guts, Samus Aran getting her head repeatedly stomped, Captain N. getting his arms tore off, and Scrooge McDuck getting his head stomped.
  • Overall, he has hundreds of kill count and even though some of them can be classified as righteous, they are still far too lethal and brutal to only mention as righteous, as Abobo clearly gets a sadistic pleasure from the action of killing.
  • His actions caused his son into being a bloodthirsty brute like him, who would later go on a massacre in a local amusement park by brutally hugging people and animals to death, and then expand his rampage throughout the whole planet.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • While being too heinous, Abobo's characterization and the game itself are played with far too parodic and darkly comedic display. Overall of the game is the parody tribute of NES games mixed with intense comedy, preventing Abobo from being serious enough to be NPE.
  • No matter how he caused him becoming a bloodthirsty brute like himself, he genuinely loves his son Aboboy, shedding tears when he finds out the boy is kidnapped, when seeing Amazon impersonated as the kid, and when saving him from Little Mac.
  • There is an optional Pet the Dog moment in which Abobo acts merciful towards the Urban Champ, sparing him and signing a photo of himself, demonstrating a friendship instead of killing him.
    • Some other victims such as Toad, the Messenger, the referee and cameraman can be simply avoided from killing, while it is too occasionally to happen.
